Chicago Bulls Fire Head Coach Fred Hoiberg

By on December 3, 2018

Fred Hoiberg has finally officially been fired.

This comes after a disappointing season where they currently sit at 5-19.

Bulls Ready to Move on

Fred Hoiberg was hired back in June 2015 with championship aspirations. Instead they suffered early playoff exits and traded their franchise player.

It’s no secret that former Bulls player Jimmy Butler and Hoiberg didn’t get along. The partnership produced disappointing results, which is why Butler was traded.

However, with a young roster and a potentially loaded draft class for next year, it seems the Bulls are more interested in tanking to rebuild.

Regardless of their plans, they were obviously ready to move on from Hoiberg.
